KANTHA is a traditional embroidery style originating from Bengal, involving simple, running stitches. The word 'Kantha', in fact, means 'embroidered quilt'.This quilt would be used either to sleep on or as a blanket to cover oneself.

My stripe patterned throw is inspired from the beautiful KANTHA art.

This hand quilted throw is made of fine quality cotton fabric with cotton wadding and then lined with soft cotton fabric at the back. Quilting is in simple stripe pattern in off white colour threads.

This traditional beautiful handmade throw is durable and comfortable.
Each throw is washed and ironed before putting up for selling.
