This design requires 88 hours for one woman to knit by hand. This time is not inclusive of the laborious task of creating the yarn and hand dyeing it organically. Please allow 8 weeks for the delivery of this custom-created sweater.

Our Ethiopian cotton is sourced from a women's cooperative in Addis Ababa. There, the ladies hand spin cotton on drop spindles. The cotton is then imported into Rwanda where the women working for Handspun Hope ply and dye the yarn.
